PETE MOORE CHEVROLET FIGHTS FOR A LASTING LEGACY FOR SAFER SHORES

September 16th, 2019 by

As any Pensacola, Milton FL, and Panama City FL resident can attest, beach life is a big part of our daily existence. That means it’s more important than ever that our residents feel safe on the shores. Our city’s lifeguards are first-class in all facets of their incredibly difficult jobs. Which is why our dealership has given them a helping hand by donating several Chevy Colorado vehicles to help them out.

This donation initiative, which we call Safe Shores, was initially instituted back in 2004 by Mr. Pete Moore and has given area lifeguards the tools they need to make many life-saving rescues. The state of Florida has lost more children to drowning than any other state and is routinely at the top of the list for drowning death rates overall in the nation.

At Pete Moore, we’re fighting to change that by giving our lifeguards the power and capability of the Chevy Colorado so that they can patrol the beaches of Pensacola more efficiently. Its durable and polished powertrain helps it to hold up under the scrutiny of being able to navigate the sandy conditions. Additionally, its long box design makes it longer than many of its competitors, and its depth is also incredibly valuable. This allows our local lifeguards from around Gulf Breeze and Crestview FL to take more life-saving equipment with them wherever they go, making them more prepared to face the unpredictable nature of the job.

At Pete Moore Chevrolet, we’re proud to support our local lifeguards around Fort Walton Beach FL and create a safer environment for area residents to enjoy our beaches. As always, it’s our continued pleasure to serve you, and we look forward to seeing you at the dealership.
